Indent, Egypt Independent Issue 39
Indent is a collaboration between Egypt Independent, the sister English-language publication of Al-Masry Al-Youm daily and the art Initiate Beirut in Cairo.
"For this issue of Egypt Independent the article Mission (im)possible attempts to travel through time, projecting and envisioning the socio-political circumstances of the future, on the 30th anniversary of the 2011 Egyptian Revolution. The artist commissioned writer Naira Antoun, one of Egypt Independent's journalists, to write a second version of her article "Mission impossible", published in the same issue and laid out next to it, but projected 28 years into the future as it would appear on 7 February 2041."
