SCHATTENLOS: Eine Filmlesung in zwei Akten
(Schadowless: a two acts film-reading)

Text, found footages, sound, ca. 90 minutes 2019 (Work in progress)
Made on the occasion of Braunschweig Projects 2019 at HBK Braunschweig, Germany

A teaser displayed in the exhibition “Every hundred feet the world changes - Braunschweig Projects 2019” refers to a two-chapter Film reading which periodically weaves around the planned Film project SCHATTENLOS. Research material, mood boards and collaboratively developed drawings are accompanied by excerpts from the treatment of the Film. The story focuses on three developed characters, Paul, Sam and the man in the grey suit, who come together for a surreal road movie with stylistic references to expressionist Films of the 1920s. SCHATTENLOS is an adaptation of the German novel “Peter Schlemihl’s Miraculous Story” by Adelbert von Chamisso from 1813. (Exhibition catalogue)
