Amid social unrest, famous rapper Homa struggles in the studio, unable to find her voice. Collective pressure and accusations of being a traitor heighten her frustration, until, in the grip of her nihilistic rage, a curious bird-human Djinn appears. What message will this presence unveil in the midst of Homa’s agony?
Homã, is a mythical bird from Asian-Iranian legends, a common motif in poetry that never lands on the ground. In some myths Homã is seen as a phoenix that every now and then consumes itself in fire, only to rise again from the ashes.
